The Chinese-Greek Seminar on Higher Education Cooperation was held at the Beijing International Convention Center on October 21. The vice president Li Xiangdong was invited to attend and signed a MoU with Aristotle University of Greece (AUTH) online.

The seminar was jointly organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) and Greek Ministry of Education & Religious Affair. It aimed to strengthen cooperation in scientific research, joint training of talents, summer courses and student exchanges between Chinese and Greek universities and scientific research institutes. The seminar included the joint release of the Chinese-Greek higher education cooperation initiative, the signing of some Chinese-Greek university cooperation agreements, and discussions on issues such as the internationalization strategy of higher education and cooperation cases between Chinese and Greek universities.

Founded in 1925, Aristotle University is the largest comprehensive university in Greece, which is ranked QS top 600. In June this year, SDAU held an online meeting with AUTH to discuss cooperation in cooperative running of school. In the future, the two universities will carry out all-round, wide-ranging and in-depth cooperation in fields such as teacher and student exchanges, international scientific research cooperation and cooperative running of school.
