Recently, a delegation including Professor Sun Yurui and Professor Klaus Wolfgang Büscher from the University of Bonn, Germany, visited our university. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on fields such as intelligent agricultural equipment, animal husbandry technology, and international cooperation in education. Vice President Lin Hai attended the event and presented visiting professor appointments to Professor Sun Yurui and others.

During the report session, Professor Sun Yurui introduced an integrated multi-parameter sensing technology system for silage research, demonstrating the innovative application of intelligent sensing technology in the field of precision agriculture. Professor Klaus Wolfgang Büscher delivered a report titled “Advancements in Precision Livestock Farming”, sharing cutting-edge achievements in smart livestock farming and emphasizing the pivotal role of intelligent equipment and machine vision technology in enhancing production efficiency and ensuring animal welfare.

After the meeting, the delegation visited Jinlan Dairy Co., Ltd. and Leshou Agricultural Machinery (Shandong) Co., Ltd. in Tai'an City. They held discussions with enterprise leaders on topics such as the construction of smart farms, the intelligent upgrading of the dairy industry, and the optimization of sensing technology for intelligent agricultural machinery, reaching preliminary cooperation intentions.
